Liz Chaderton lives in a small village in Berkshire (UK), working mainly in watercolor and ink. She initially followed her love of science and words, but the need to create always called to her. She has traveled extensively with pencil and paper in hand, sketching giant tortoises in the Galapagos and ancestral houses in Indonesia. Gradually, painting became something she couldn’t ignore, and in 2016 she became a full-time artist.
Liz says: “I create art to remind us of the wonder in the world—the quiet resilience of nature, the deep connection we share with animals, and the endless possibilities for renewal. My work is a moment of joy in a busy, overwhelming world, offering a fresh perspective that turns concern into hope and hope into action. It’s an invitation to see the world not as it is, but as it could be.”
Liz shares her sense of wonder not only through her paintings but also through teaching. She runs regular workshops, has written five practical art books, and creates YouTube tutorials.
